Kolovrat is recognized by many researchers as the main symbol in Slavic mythology. It represents the image of the sun, which gives life to all living things. However in fact its meaning has a deeper and more sacred meaning. Our ancestors believed that Kolovrat is a projection of the universe, where everything happens in cycles. For example, the darkness is replaced with light. In addition, the image of the sun in Slavic mythology is inextricably linked with the worship of the mother earth. That is why the Kolovrat was considered a particularly revered symbol by our ancestors. Previously it was worn in order to receive the patronage of the ancient gods.

The meaning of this symbol is interpreted quite simply. The first part of the word is "circle" and the second part is " rotation». Accordingly, we are talking about a symbol of the cyclical nature of the universe, which represents not only the change of day and night, but also much more global things. For example, life and death, troubles and prosperity.

Initially, there was only a rotifer with four rays, but later there were variants with a large number of rays.

According to Slavic mythology, the Tree of life is the center of the world, a combination of three dimensions: the earth, the world of Gods and the underworld. They believed that the crown of the Tree is behind the clouds and represents a Paradise where deities and Ancestors live. Roots-the world of evil gods, for example, Chernobog. And the trunk symbolizes our world, where all people, plants and animals live.

This is not just a beautiful symbol, but also a talisman that helps ordinary mortals keep in touch with the Gods, grow and develop spiritually, and maintain a balance between Light and Darkness within themselves. This amulet is able to give its owner inner strength, helps maintain balance in the world, gives protection, promotes internal and external development.
