Description
Franz Heinrich started his porcelain painting business in Selb, Bavaria in 1896. He built a muffle oven in his parents ' house. Initially, only one employee helped him. Five years later, in 1901, he began producing his own white tableware.
Porzellanfabrik Heinrich Selb has become one of the largest porcelain manufacturers in Germany. In 1929, Heinrich & Co has acquired another factory in Selb, Gräf & Krippner. In the 1930s, the Heinrich factory employed 500 people.
In 1945 the company ably resumed production. In the 1970s, the number of jobs increased to 800. In 1976, Heinrich Porzellan GmbH became part of Villeroy & Boch.
The pair is made of snow-white porcelain and decorated with lemon coating and gold! Excellent vintage condition!
