suspension: Antique Chinese silver Chatelain pendant 19th century

This rare old Chinese chatelaine from the Qing dynasty is a real gem of antique jewelry. You can look at it for a long time and study it, because everything about it is unusual: its shape, engraving and fastening of all the smallest details does not resemble anything I have seen before. The upper element has an elegant elongated shape and a moth is attached to it, which is considered a symbol of good luck. Its surface is hand-engraved on both sides, and attached to it are three amazingly thin, elegant objects in the form of a spatula, tweezers with a slide lock and a spoon, which had a specific purpose 100 years ago (once tools were used to clean and pack an opium pipe), now it is a fascinating antique decoration. All details are beautifully decorated with embossed patterns. Pendant made of silver, checked by the bichromate. The hanging items measure about 9 cm long each. The total length of the decoration is just over 15 cm and about 3.5 cm wide. Chatelain weighs 21 grams. This beauty can be hung on a chain, or on a belt or pocket. The Chatelain pendant has been produced since about 1880 and is in very good antique condition, it has a century-old noble patina.
