More recently, I discovered such materials as velvet (velour) paper and velvet cardboard. The difference between the first and the second is only in the thickness. But, it turns out, what a pleasure it is to write dry pastels on velvet! The result is amazing-the picture (whatever you draw) at the exit has a velvety, indescribable tenderness. There are, of course, nuances - the process of writing on velvet almost does not tolerate mistakes. The hand must be firm and precise. You can't completely remove any extra touches.
A delicate pink rose with rosebuds in dewdrops is made on velvet cardboard with dry pastels. The result on the face is tenderness, touchiness and apparent fragility.
The size of the picture is 17,5h21,5, cm, not framed in a baguette.

If you like this picture, you may also be interested in my other works painted in dry pastel. In most cases, I do not make out such drawings in a Passepartout and frame, I leave this privilege to the buyer. The selection of the frame for the interior is a purely individual theme. From a small-premalekha a pastel drawing, you can make a decent size picture, choosing the right a wide Mat. Therefore, it is not necessary to be afraid that there will be nowhere to "enter" the picture. On the contrary, pastel works with proper design can decorate absolutely any interior.
