Mandala "Celtic Trefoil" Triquetr.
Canvas on a stretcher, acrylic paints, acrylic pen.
D 20cm. Hand painted.
The most remarkable thing I discovered about Celtic ornaments is that they consist of just one continuous thread — the thread of life, according to Celtic beliefs.
If you look closely at the symbol, the line has no beginning or end, it is infinite.
The Celts are an ancient people who had their own culture and religion, many symbols and patterns have survived to the present day, preserving their sacred symbolism.
Very many symbols were found in our ancestors, the Slavs, so in the description I will parallel the values of the symbols (which I found on the Internet) and the Celts (Triquetr), and the Slavs (Triglav).
A similar meaning is that this symbol represents the balance of heaven, earth, and water. It also demonstrates the threefold nature of the spirit, centered on a Central point. The triplicity of spiritual nature is expressed by Christians in their divine Trinity.
The Shamrock is a symbol of location, as well as good luck bestowed by the gods. This is the Union and unity of fire, earth and sky.
The Celts believed that the spirit of man is a particle of the spirit world. That through the multiplicity of lives, deaths, and rebirths, a person passes the path to divine perfection (that is, important aspects of human existence — life on earth, bodily death, and spiritual rebirth).
The symbol of the Triglav, also known as the Shamrock, was considered one of the strongest in ancient Slavic beliefs.
Personifying the gods who rule over the three worlds-Rule, Navi and Reveal, he possessed their immense power, which a person could use for their well-being.
The fact that the world-petals are intertwined with each other in a single line and placed in a circle means the harmony of the three worlds.
Triquetr is considered a universal protective sign, both for women and men.
It has the shape of a Shamrock, while the petals are harmoniously intertwined with each other, symbolizing the continuity of life and the unbreakable connection of man with nature. Triquetr attracts good luck and helps its owner to solve the most difficult life issues.
At the heart of the sacred ornament are three identical petals-these are pointed ovals intertwined with each other and closely connected with a closed circle in the center.
The Celtic symbol represents the feminine principle of the Universe. At the same time, the talisman is able to give men confidence, courage and fearlessness, and protects women from dark forces and black envy. Triquetr is also associated with the fertility of the earth and life after death.
Again, we come to the fact that everyone chooses the value of the symbol from all the suggested ones. What responds to you personally is the truth in the present moment.
The picture does not require additional design, ready to immediately decorate Your home (on the table, shelf, chest of drawers).
You can change the shape and size of the canvas to order.
