The etude was written from life in Crimea, on a street of Bakhchisaray on a Sunny August evening in 2018.
The bright Crimean sun lit up part of the stone wall and the old door, played with reflections on the vines, whimsically emphasizing the openwork foliage.
The original town of Bakhchisaray with its streets and architecture is reflected in this study.
The work was done with oil paints on hardboard.
