The sculpture is made of elk horn inlaid with cubic Zirconia. The halo is made of mother of pearl.

Sirin (Sirin, Σειρῆνες) — in ancient Russian art and legends, a bird of Paradise with the head of a virgin. It is believed that Sirin is a Slavic image of the Greek sirens. It is often depicted together with another bird of Paradise, Alkonost, but the head of Sirin is sometimes uncovered, and around it is a halo.

Sirin owes its origin to the literary tradition of the middle ages. The most ancient image Sirina back to the X century and survived on clay plates, earrings and temporal rings (Kiev, Korsun). In medieval Russian legends Sirin is bird of Paradise, which sometimes arrives on earth and sings a prophetic song about the coming bliss.
