Vintage suitcase in the technique "decoupage".
Very useful in the house! It can store everything from toys to art materials. Here we use the style "pechvork", or, as they say in Russia- "patchwork sewing". It was a patchwork quilt that was an important talisman against the evil eye and was a mandatory thing in the house.
Undoubtedly, this subject will decorate the interior of a country house or Villa. It's hard to write this style in a city apartment. Mine is under the bed with my favorite needlework, and when I take it out, I remember my childhood: a patchwork quilt that my grandmother made for me, on a warm stove, a frosty window, mittens are drying in the stove, and potatoes are cooking in a cast-iron pot. But, the sun is already warming and spring will soon come with blooming gardens and birdsong...
Childhood memories-they are the most vivid, expensive and even fabulous. Here under the mood and get my "scrappy" suitcases.

Outside - "napkin" oven door, under layers of water-resistant varnish. Inside on the lid is four separate pockets of cotton fabric, each elastic.
The bottom and sides - patchwork of vintage fabric on sintepon. All sewn by hand. Buttons - vintage. On the side - pockets.
