Three goddesses of fate (the Norns, fates)

Norns — in German-Norse mythology, three goddesses, sorceresses with the gift to determine the fate of the world, people and gods. They are a facet of moir's transcultural image.
Norns URD (past or fate), Verdandi (present or becoming) , and Skuld (future or duty).
They live near the source of URD, in Midgard, where they water the root of the world tree Yggdrasil with the waters of this source and thereby prolong its existence. In the stories, they were depicted as three women, one old and decrepit (URD), another middle-aged (Verdandi), and the third quite young (Skuld). Odin turned to the Norns for advice several times, and the Norns themselves sometimes predicted the future.
The Norns are very old; they are said to be one of the oldest deities, Dating back long before the murder of Ymir and the deluge. In the Scandinavian sagas, it is claimed that the Norns existed even before the appearance of the aces: since ancient times, they determined the fate of all living, weaving networks of the Vird. ( If so, they must surely belong to the hoar — frost Turs who were born in Niflheim-perhaps the second generation after Ymir, before the Storm came.)
In any case, the Norns are often asked for help by master seita and anyone who wants to read the Threads of Fate or change them in one way or another. This is called working with Threads. Each person has his own Thread in the Vird, which contains everything that he has done in his life, and is intricately intertwined and connected with the Threads of other people. Knots and entanglements with other Threads occur whenever you take an oath of loyalty to someone, show or accept deep feelings in relationships with other people, give gifts, take on yourself or impose obligations on someone, and when you cause harm to other people without any compensation (or yourself suffer damage from someone without receiving compensation). In addition, your Thread may become entangled or tied in knots under the influence of" luck " (good or bad) accumulated as a result of your previous actions (including, sometimes, actions committed in past incarnations). An experienced visionary can, under certain conditions, trace the thread of a person in a Vird's web, identify the causes of knots and entanglements that create problems, and find out (usually by appealing to the Norns or other deities) what should be done to unravel the Thread. This can be especially useful for people who have lost or damaged their luck. Working with Threads is a complex shamanic practice, accessible only to those who have worked with spirits for many years, and allowed only with the permission of the Norns. If you don't establish a good business relationship with them, you won't get far With Threads. The Norns, so to speak, will simply reject all your requests.
