Capodimonte is the brightest ornament to Your collection and a great gift connoisseur of fine European porcelain! The famous porcelain factory of Capodimonte was founded in 1743 by Charles III of the Bourbon dynasty, king of Naples and the two Sicilies. Having ascended to the throne of Naples in 1734, after the victory over the Austrians, Carl settled in the capital with his retinue of advisors, masters and artists and moved with a rich collection of art objects that belonged to his mother Elizabeth, the last of the family Farnese. To accommodate this unique collection of works by order of the king was built the Palace of Capodimonte. True porcelain "Capodimonte" is made entirely by hand, and molded objects are burned two or three times at a temperature of 1280 degrees.
Condition is very good!
