Putti decorative images of small boys, typical of Baroque art and Renaissance. Putti — (ital. putti, mn. h from putto, literally a baby), pictures of little boys (and sometimes winged), a favorite decorative motif in Renaissance art (as well as the XVII XVIII centuries.).
In the era of the Italian Renaissance, this motif appeared again, but it antique erotes (to distinguish them from the Angels) were portrayed without wings and received a new name: cherubs, or putti is (ital. putto - "baby").
There are cracks crackle on the glaze layer. Everything seen in the photo, do not spoil such a thing, and only add to the charm of starnino things.
