Candle holder vase set of 2 pieces handmade
Sold as a set.
Candlesticks/vases are decorated using different techniques and different materials. Three-dimensional elements, tinted glass, patina, glass pebbles.
I wanted to create something reminiscent of Spanish Andalusia during the Arab conquest. It was as if these old candlesticks had been stored for centuries, candles burned in them on dark nights, maybe sometimes they were filled with water and put flowers, and the vases themselves certainly faded in comparison with the bright colors of the South of the Pyrenees, but at the same time they retained the nobility and elegance of the work of the ancient master who created them. Once, the bright red glass with the tarnished silver ornament of Arabesques was covered with a noble patina - the dust of the times, and only the uncut garnets on the lamps have not yet aged and dimmed. They still reflect the splendor of the luxury of Moorish Granada, the fire of its fall during the Reconquista of the late 15th century.
Here's something like this I "imagined" while I was coming up with and implementing my plan.
To make the lights "play" beautifully in the dark, it is better to use several diode candles or even a whole small garland that can be put inside. You can also put a floating ordinary candle inside, preferably wider, but one, I think, will not be enough. Requires brighter light.
A single scented floating round diam candle is attached to the candlestick. approx 3 cm. In the case of placing only one candle inside, the candlestick will play a slightly mysterious dim light in the dark.
Also, the lamps can be used as vases for any flowers and dried flowers.
