White yarn - 100% Malamute underfur; Red yarn - 100% Collie underfur; Black yarn - 100% Berne dog (Sennenhund) underfur. The underfur is spinned with sewing reinforced thread and rubbered into 2 threads.
The distinguishing characteristic of these children's mittens consists of having backing (undercloth), that makes them double and twice as warm. The undercloth is knitted of soft cotton yarn - important point for children's items where special softness is required.
The idea of creating this pattern supposes dozens of its variants. Not less item's colour-range is achieved by having yarn of different colours and tints. Consequently, these mittens have a chance to be individual. All patterns I design myself. One more advantage of such pattern's knitting: there are two threads while knitting the pattern - the first one creates the pattern, the second thread is pulled out by the back side of the item that creates a double-cloth effect as a result. This helps the mittens to keep more warmth.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
