Marine author's landscape "Cape Fiolent" written in oil paints, canvas 100% cotton on cardboard (Vista Artista)
The work is made in the style of multi-layered laminated painting.
The picture was created on sketches made by me in the Crimea near Balaklava (Cape Fiolent)
Features of the nature of the Crimea, always inspire creative people. Rocks, bays and grottoes, the Black sea, which is always different, all this served to create this Crimean landscape.
The picture needs registration in a frame or the passport (without glass) and a frame-a baguette.

A bit of history.
The name Fiolent first appears on Russian maps in 1807. Before that, it was called Cape St. George, after the monastery.
Here, 10 kilometers North-West of Balaklava begins the third main or southern ridge of the Crimean mountains, which ends at Theodosia Cape Ilya.
The name of the Cape, composed of volcanic rocks, the famous researcher of the Crimea Berthier-Delagart, translates as a distorted Filent-Burun (translated from Turkish-tiger, striped Cape). Indeed, on the cliff of the Cape there are alternating bands of yellowish limestone and dark trachite, resembling the coloring of a tiger's skin.
Visiting these places,
A. S. Pushkin wrote the hymn of loyalty to friendship to his beloved friend Peter Chaadaev in the poem " From the sea shore of Taurida»:
Why cold doubts?
I believe - here was a formidable the Yasukuni,
The sacrifices smoked;
Here the Enmity of the fierce Eumenides was appeased:
Here is the harbinger of Taurida
On brother hand has brought;
On these ruins happened
Holy friendship celebration,
And souls of the great deity
His creation was proud.
