The Esperance candy and gingerbread factory, one of the three confectionery factories in Kursk of the XIX century ("Esperance Candy factory", "Mr. Novosiltsov's Chocolate and candy factory", and "Rapture" factory), known for its products even in Europe, was located on Endovishchenskaya street, which in turn is known for the fact that no street in Russia bears this name anymore.
The factory was owned by mordka Leibovich Mogilevsky, a technology engineer, and was located on ul. 6 endovishchenskaya street in the Golikov house. It offered its products in flat cardboard boxes(see below). Esperance products were awarded two medals at the world exhibition in Brussels and the exhibition in Paris. Candy, of course, was sold by weight. Preserved wrappers, which were wrapped in candy "cherry", "Strawberry", "Orange", " Victoria».
