Did you know that aspirin owes its name to meadowsweet? Acetylsalicylic acid for medical use, created by German chemist Felix Hoffmann.
But the chemical name in those days could not be patented, and so the new drug came up with the word "aspirin". « A" - from "acetyl", "spir" - from the Latin name of meadowsweet, - spirea, rich in salicin, "in" designation of the drug.
It is because of the high content of salicinol, a natural antibiotic, meadowsweet hydrolate is excellent for the care of oily, combination skin prone to acne.
Tightens pores and regulates sebum production. Heals the skin, improves the complexion.
Oily and combination meadowsweet has anti-aging effects, promotes collagen synthesis and skin tightening. A powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals and aggressive environmental factors.
Combats dandruff and oily seborrhea, accelerates hair growth. Suitable as a soothing treatment after epilation and shaving. Relieves itching after insect bites.
And plus to all of the above, it has a bright herbal-honey aroma of a Sunny summer meadow.
How to use: spray on skin as often as needed. Do not forget to blot the skin after applying the hydrolate (to avoid dehydration of the skin), or apply a serum, mask or cream on top.
Hydrolate can be frozen in portions in ice molds and used for washing. This method improves microcirculation, regenerates and tightens the skin.
Can be used to dilute dry face masks:
