A set of seven plates based on antique engravings by the watchmaker Anne of Brittany.
Between 1503 and 1508, Maitre Jean Bourdichon painted a rich horologue for Anne of Brittany, the last ruler of independent Brittany and twice Queen of France. Of course, there were miniatures dedicated to Scripture in the chronicler, but, in addition, the chronicler of Anne of Brittany is also a kind of Botanical Atlas.
It contains more than two hundred images of various plants.miniatures teem with insects, snails and other living creatures, written out lovingly and carefully.
Also lovingly and carefully I wrote these plates.
Large Staging plates for table setting. The plate diameter-29cm.
The wide openwork edge of the plate is decorated in the style of pate-sir-pate in a delicate transparent blue color of the early dawn morning.
For those who say that it is simply impossible to eat from these plates, because they are too beautiful, I suggest to decorate the walls of your house with them!
I will provide reliable spring suspensions for this purpose.
And Yes! Plates in the amount of seven pieces! You ask why? And because when the artist draws, when creativity covers with his head, you forget how much material you have at hand, and draw, draw, draw... forgetting to stop))))
THE ONLY INSTANCE. Repeat not doing.
