Villa Otrada-an architectural monument of the late XIX century, the cottage of the merchant Nikolai Dmitrievich Stakheev in Alushta. Today it is one of the attractions of the city. The building is built in the art Nouveau style using European classics. The author of the project-Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov, one of the most talented architects of the time. The project was developed in 1879 and in 1882 was fully implemented and put into operation. Until 1885, work continued on the arrangement of the Park area, inscribed in the natural landscape, which allowed to preserve many rare plants. Now within the walls of the cottage merchant Stakheev is a children's creativity center. Merchant Stakheev's dacha was regularly repaired with funds allocated for children and youth preschool education in the USSR, and was always kept in good condition.
