Description
A very rare silver ring with an emerald paste (most likely it is a stone, not glass) and a cameo depicting a goddess with Laurel leaves in her hair (the Roman Imperial symbol of Victory),dressed in Roman clothes. French Art Deco ring marked on the outside with the mark of the famous French jeweler Germain Lenore, initials GL, oak leaves with acorn. This mark was used between 1906 and 1921,and therefore, the ring dates from either the art Nouveau or art Deco. The ring has natural traces of time in accordance with their age (in 10-fold magnifying glass you can see scolecite the contour of the cameo, not visible to the naked eye). The ring is in very good antique condition. It is a mysterious elegant ring with a real French charm. Silver tested bichromate, and indicates sterling silver.A genuine rarity from France!
