When these components are added, the soap becomes softer and more gentle, the shelf life of the soap is extended. Another main property of sodium citrate is the ability to soften hard water.
The remaining oils (base) in the soap - give it moisturizing, caring, foaming, cleansing, softening properties. The soap has a gentle foam. A piece of soap is washed off to the end without breaking.
