This costume differs sharply from all others, it does not have similar ones, thanks to unusual shapes and ornamental color solutions. The folk costumes of Mikhailovsky uyezd are the clothes of the inhabitants of the deaf forest Meshchersky region. The isolation of the population contributed to the formation and preservation of a number of ancient elements in a suit: a headdress in the form of a horned cuckoo, a long foreliver - "yupochka", a swinging tunic, without sleeves.
The suit combines bright vertical and horizontal stripes and fabric, creating a complex interesting rhythm. Ponyeva with this "yupochke" was put on top of a canvas shirt. The apron, worn on the ground, consisted of alternating yellow and colored horizontal stripes. In the complex of the Ryazan costume, a multilayered structure is clearly expressed, and each component, which is put on top of the previous one, repeats its shape. The top or "yellik", singing and the apron, put on the doll, accurately convey the color composition and the shape of the historical costume. A headdress on a doll is a ponoynik with a scarf, as worn by all-around Ryazan women at a later time in the early 20th century.
