The icon "Tenderness" is a list 1521 Vladimir icon of the mother of God. According to legend, the Pskov-Pechersk icon was protected from the siege of Pskov by Polish king Stephen in 1581. Now the icon is in the assumption Cathedral of the Pskov-caves monastery.
