For knitting this children's vest 100% Berne dog (Sennenhund) underfur was used. Dogs of this dog breed have thick and silky yarn of three colors: black, red and white. Consequently, the underfur is also three-colour. More delicate yarn selection can give even four colors: black, red, white and brown. The yarn of this underfur is soft, silky and with shine. Sennenhund underfur of white, beige and brown colors can be used for knitting as for different works as for the only one that you can see on the presented vest.
The whole cloth of the vest is knitted with ornament, i.e. it is all over double. There are two threads while knitting: the first one creates the pattern, the second thread is pulled out by the back side of the item that creates a double-cloth effect as a result. The ribbing is also knitted with a special technique. Such ribbing fits perfectly to the item, don't stretch, keeps shape that plays an important role for the vest. As a result, there must be a very warm and smart vest.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
