White yarn - 100% Malamute underfur with addition of white goat underfur. The underfur is spinned with sewing reinforced thread and rubbered into 2 threads. The yarn is soft, silky and not ticklish that is especially important for such accessory as neck is considered to be a place with high sensitivity.
Dickey is a very comfortable and useful item for cold season. This scarf-collar covers neck, breast and shoulders from cold wind, and can be necessary at home when you have a sore throat or your neck is caught a draft. In such cases dry heat is needed which can be provided by the dog wool. The dickey is knitted round without stitches that allows to tuck it inward as well as outward.
The design consists of straight lines coming together to form an unusual geometric pattern which goes all over the accessory. The pattern is a ribbing that's why the dickey knitted with such ribbing has good fitting that you can see on the presented photo.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
