For knitting these women's mittens brown 100% Berne dog (Sennenhund) underfur was used. Dogs of this dog breed have thick and silky yarn of three colors: black, red and white. Consequently, the underfur is also three-colour. More delicate yarn selection can give even four colors: black, red, white and brown. The yarn of this underfur is soft, silky and with shine.
These mittens are knitted with 'irish tail' pattern that makes them individual, eye-catching and smart. There is one more advantage of the work: prominent tail on the one side and a wide ribbing by the palm on the other provide excellent fitting for a hand of any size that is of no small importance for knitted works.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
