After the rain

The rain is gone. I do not tremble
Cloud lightning-storm.
Look how the sky shines
Through the trees turquoise!
From the bushes shadows,
And the flowers are full of water;
It smells like lilac
Sweet smell of mignonette.
Accurately metering the pond wide;
As in mirror silver
Reflected in it, deeply
House, willow trees on the mountain.
And he is red
The sunset light and warmth
Night out the window sometimes blows,
Exactly gentle wing.

The painting is executed in watercolor on paper with a nice rough surface.
Finishing lacquer creates the picture of a delicate satin film which protects the picture from damage and gives it a gentle shimmer.
