For knitting of this men's vest the yarn of two dog breeds were used: Keeshond (Wolfspitz) and Newfoundland. This is white and black colors, and grey colour is a mixture of both these kinds of wool with addition of goat underfur.
The whole cloth of the vest is knitted with ornament, i.e. it is all over double. There are two threads while knitting: the first one creates the pattern, the second thread is pulled out by the back side of the item that creates a double-cloth effect as a result.
The ribbing is also knitted with a special technique. Such ribbing fits perfectly to the item, don't stretch, keeps shape that plays an important role for the vest. As a result there must be a very warm and smart vest.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
