Panels on the wall "waiting for the Palio" is inspired by memories... Yes! Everything is spinning with me Italian Muse whispers in your ear your story and when I close my eyes – draws the images of her favorite places. Well... give up, or rather take up lot of boards, colorings and create a mural inspired by the inspiration!
This time at the picture ancient city of Tuscany – Siena, dressed up in anticipation of the Palio. Of course, I embellished a little, as the real Siena is a red-brick houses with red-brown tile roofs. But I wanted to convey the atmosphere of celebration that prevails in the city in anticipation of the annual race. And this is a great event to which all the districts – the contrade, are preparing for a year! And here comes the long-awaited day, the main square – Piazza del Campo – constrained sandy ring, which will run horses, and the Palazzo Comunale already waving flags and coats of arms of the Contrada: yellow-green-white flag with a crowned caterpillar, crawling on the rose from contrade Bruko (Caterpillar), and red-white-blue-black banner Istrice (Porcupine), an ally of the Caterpillar, and the banner with the Panther heaved on the red white and blue canvas from contrade Panthers, and many other! Of course, on my panel there is no such elaborate banners. And those are little variegated flags, cut from cotton fabric.
The sheer panels are made of wood, or rather from the old boards. For painting used acrylic paint.
Can also look at my other work. Maybe like something else ;)
