Painting "The Tree of Life". Gustav Klimt.
"The Tree of Life" is a painting calling for a mass of emotions regardless of the storyline interpretation - be that the Biblical tree of knowledge as a symbol of the highest wisdom or the "secular" family tree. The theme is taken from the apocalyptic section of the Bible. The tree is a road composed by three paths and there are rocks on this road for the way to the true Goal cannot be easy and straight. Eternity and infinity paired up are symbolically presented by the curls of the Tree.
The painting is done in a mixed technique in acryl and water color. Its distinguishing feature is in the explicitly outlined volume-forming decor. Thanks to this technique the beautiful curls of the tree and some separate elements are slightly bulbaceous.
Multicolored volumetric contours are also used in this painting. Some elements are even more volumetric because they are underlined with black, white, copper, bronze and silver contours.
The painting is decorated with copper foil that gives it a certain glow and depth.
The background gives the impression of an overflowing gold river flowing steady and deep.
When exposed to sunlight the painting gleams with gold, copper, gold metallic and bronze.
It looks different in different light - from golden to rich copper.
The painting is multilayered.
It looks warm and just makes you want to touch it.
The painting look beautiful in interior. One could say that it catches the eye from minute one. It will complement and emphasize the interior in warm colors, it will ideally fit into a gold-beige gamma of a room or quarters. It will advantageously underline any bronze elements of modern setting.
This painting does not need additional framing (because it is canvas on a canvas stretcher), it can be hung on the wall without much preparation.
This painting is good for the interior design of a home, an office, a creativity center, a psychological center, a family center etc. It is full of harmony and peace.
The cost of materials is not included in the price. Materials include canvas, canvas stretcher and three-dimensional profile. Materials are paid for upon completion. I'll send you a photo of receipts. An average of four or five thousand rubles per one painting.
