Housekeeper "the Old bridges of Venice - Bridge of Sighs"

Bridges of Venice, is unique and unrepeatable, each has its own story – a mysterious, sad or romantic... My housekeeper shows the Bridge of Sighs is a small, but very picturesque bridge of Venice. This bridge in the middle ages were held prisoners sighing at the sight of the Venetian beauties, which, probably, was last seen in the prison, few have returned. One such returnee was the famous Giacomo Casanova is the only person who managed to escape from prison.

Recently in Venice there is another legend connected with the bridge of Sighs. They say that if lovers passing under the bridge on a gondola kiss – their feelings are eternal and will outlive any adversity. Only kissing, it is imperative at sunset!

The work is done in decoupage technique, the housekeeper with decorative tracery elements, not too pretentious, but nonetheless elegant, upper panel, a decorative element like a bridge with passing beneath the gondola, beautiful accessories completes the look. Inside there are two double hooks for hanging keys.
All the materials used - water-based.
