Description
Charles Rennie Mackintosh ( 7 June 1868, Glasgow - December 10, 1928, London) was a Scottish architect, artist and designer. He is the founder of art Nouveau and the British "art Nouveau", in Scotland.
Since childhood, Charles led a sedentary life due to a foot injury. The boy couldn't have fun with the neighborhood kids and all my free time dedicated to floral sketches - painted garden flowers. Subsequently, these works have graced many famous interiors.
Charles loved to watch the unusual natural forms and make sketches, paying attention to every detail.
All creations Mac entail and admire his austere, refined simplicity.
My copies of the works of the legendary masters made
as a simple pencil and watercolour on tinted paper. I deliberately applied the technique of distressing ( aging of paper ) to ensure that they successfully blended in actual now the interiors in the styles - vintage, Provence, colonial.
How to keep
Work with a protective varnish for watercolors.
I recommend to draw a frame under glass.
