The famous scene from the world's most popular and ever fascinating musical of Andrew Lloyd Webber The Phantom of the Opera. Made to order.
The Phantom of the Opera was the first modern musical that I have seen live and not just anywhere but at it's birthplace, Her Majesty's Theatre, West End and it still remains my absolutely favourite musical. The poses of the figurines are based on the scenography of the scene Music of the Night, but Christine wears a wedding dress and Phantom's hand is placed on her waist. The outfits are loosely based on scenic costumes. Three rows of delicate cream-coloured lace twine diagonally round Christine's skirt, decorated with the rows of tiny lace flowers. There are minuscule white buttons of glass beads on her bodice. The skirt and the bustle are made of antique yellowish lace.
