The MANDRAKE is a plant genus of perennial herbs of the family Solanaceae. The plant is poisonous. Roots, fruits and seeds contain psychoactive alkaloids. The roots sometimes resemble a human figure, like ginseng, in this regard, in ancient times, the Mandrake was attributed with magical powers.
