How to Quickly Make Wooden Surface on Cardboard

Here's my quick and easy method of making a wooden background.

Materials

- blank of cardboard (better with rough surface and flax texture)

- usual or crochet needle

- your favourite distress ink

Press the needle with effort against the blank to draw wood texture — wavy stripes.

Get inspired looking at a picture of wooden surface on your computer.

Sponge the workpiece with the ink.

Enjoy the result! Decorate the blank the way you want.
