An alchemical balm, mysterious and ancient, like life itself. It has the aroma of oriental resins collected from relict trees, which will remain on your skin until the next application. For those who understand the value of such things.
This is the first balm from the series of Alchemical balms for the skin. I create these balms based on ancient cosmetic recipes from different cultures and using the alchemical tradition in cooking. In total, there are six planned. At the moment there are two in the collection. See Nefertary in my catalog.
I was inspired by the craving for the historical aspect of cosmetics for the recipe of frankincense. Heavy, oily, fragrant products of oriental beauties that are able to simultaneously affect external beauty, sexual attractiveness, mental and physical health.
For me, cosmetics are rather a ritual of close interaction between women and nature, as it has been since the first woman realized that she was beautiful and attached a flower to her hair
Using my balms, you must be tuned to the appropriate state - unity with nature, its harmony and perfect beauty. Light candles, relax and think that you are perfect!
About "ladanka"
Frankincense was always given a special protective power and was worn at the chest. And this has a deep practical, not just religious, meaning.
Valuable resins have fantastic regenerating properties that have been known since ancient times. They allow you to restore the skin, up to the healing of gangrenous wounds.
The incense could literally save a life at any moment. After all, the ground resin could be poured on the wound, drink with wine in case of sudden illness.
However, there were times in history when valuable resins were allowed to be used only in religious rites. And their use for personal needs was punishable by expulsion from society.
And yet, resins were extremely expensive and inaccessible to ordinary people. Frankincense and myrrh were valued more than precious metals.
The offering to the infant Jesus from the Magi, as we remember, consisted of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
The balm consists of valuable and especially fragrant resins.
As part of their 20% net weight in an almost intangible state (sometimes a grain may get caught, yes).
The basis of the balm is valuable oils and fragrant beeswax, which also has healing and cosmetic properties.
Anyone who has ever dealt with resins knows how hard it is to work with them. The resins are ground in a stone mortar to a powder state, then it takes about a month to dissolve at different temperatures.
But it's worth it. Balm transforms the skin on the eyes. The tone is leveled, wrinkles are smoothed, the face gets "photoshop" grooming.
The balm is suitable for absolutely any skin - age, oily, dry.
It can be applied point-by-point, on pimples, ulcers, herpes, cuts, chapping.
The balm has a natural aroma of the resins included in it, that is, an aromatherapy effect.
