Mosaic. Triptych. Through thorns to the sun

Three mosaic panels are made each on a plywood substrate. There is a secure attachment-hangers. Mosaics can also be mounted in the wall. Smalt, mosaic, and art glass were used to create the mosaic. As a binding material, was used a special mix for mosaics with an insulating material, which gives the product the necessary elasticity.
The triptych can be placed both horizontally and vertically. You can also buy each fragment separately.
The artwork participated in the exhibition "Botany" of the monumental art section of the Moscow Union of artists in Starosadsky lane in the fall of 2019.
Reference. Smalt — colored opaque glass made by special smelting technologies with the addition of metal oxides, as well as pieces of various shapes obtained from it by splitting or cutting. Mosaic in the modern concept is called a ceramic tile of different colors or with an already applied pattern. Art glass is a broad concept, in this case it is colored glass, but obtained using a slightly different technology than smalt.
All these materials are used when creating mosaics both in composition with each other, and for "mono" techniques.
