The Painting "The Mirror"

The Femina project is designed for a modern interior. I decided to join in the whimsical decor in vintage style with the minimalism. Cycle works are equally suitable for both female and male bedroom or living room. You can hang two works or make a whole block of several paintings. I dedicated my project to my favorite model and artist of the 60s – Verushka (Vera von Lendorf). I was inspired by her amazing and beautiful appearance, aristocratic grace, hands, thoughtful look, high forehead, mysterious soul. You can look at her photos for hours, admiring her refined style. Femina – also the image of a woman in front of the camera. I think that the work may be associated with the film Antonioni Blowup ("photo Exaggeration"), in which the author reflects on the elusive reality. I consider the Femina project as the next stage in the alchemical transformation of the invisible into the visible. Improving in the meditative perception of the world and using the fragments of the aesthetics of the past that have not lost their relevance, I try to deduce the formula of the beauty of the new, coming era.
