A large interior mirror.
I love the illustrations for fairy tales by Ivan Bilibin. All my childhood I spent with books, decorated by the great Russian artist.
In this work, I used the motives of decorative frames borders first fairy tales, designed by I. Bilibin. " Revival" motif of traditional folk ornament, its translation into reality, when, obeying the intent of the artist, Sirin-birds come to life flutter their wings, moving... the magic comes alive...
Painting ceramic tiles, multiple firing at 800gr. Bevelled mirror, large frame antique style. From the back side of a very secure mounting-suspension, manufactured in our workshop on old technology.
Of course the only copy replays.
